Feine Speiseschenke, a family-run restaurant in the Rüdigsdorfer Schweiz near Nordhausen, presents a regional, hospitable and distinctive dining experience. Since 2013 Patricia and Andreas Oberbüchler run the independent, familial establishment, emphasising professionalism and authenticity in kitchen and service. The house hosts events and private celebrations and offers the possibility to combine dining with overnight stays nearby. Recognised by Guide Michelin (Bib Gourmand), Gault&Millau (1 Haube) and the Varta Führer (2 Diamonds). The pleasant dining room offers intimate yet spacious seating in a friendly, caring familial atmosphere. An intimate garden area supports romantic candlelight settings and the venue maintains a relaxed, hospitable vibe. The kitchen focuses on market-driven regional produce prepared gently and freshly with Mediterranean influences. The house processes meat from Scottish Highland cattle and bison reared in its own naturnah, extensive breeding, and highlights the extraordinary quality of those meats owing to natural husbandry and slow growth. Specialties include Scottish Highland beef, bison from the house breeding, seasonal regional dishes with Mediterranean influences, 3- and 5-course Candle Light Dinner surprise menus, and a selected wine list.
