Terre Alte, founded in 2002 by Michele and Francesca, is perched on the hills of Longiano overlooking the Adriatic coast just ten minutes from Cesenatico. The restaurant’s large windows frame stunning sea views and allow in the refreshing sea breeze, creating an elegant and refined atmosphere designed to celebrate the pleasure of dining and conviviality. Executive Chef Rivalta Thomas leads the kitchen with a focus on high-quality Adriatic seafood. Michele personally selects the freshest catches daily at the Cesenatico fish market, ensuring exceptional ingredient quality. The menu changes seasonally to highlight the best available seafood, including raw dishes treated carefully for safety. Signature preparations include a selection of oysters, Plateau Royale of seafood, raw scampi with lemon and oil, and regional pasta dishes such as lasagne rosse with gurnard and tagliolini with baby squid and wild greens. Complementing the cuisine, the wine cellar is meticulously curated by Michele, featuring national and international labels with a special emphasis on French wines.
