Trattoria da Amerigo, established in 1934 by Amerigo Bettini and Agnese in Savigno, Italy, honors nearly ninety years of regional culinary tradition. Chef Alberto Bettini, Amerigo’s grandson, leads the kitchen alongside his partner Marina, continuing the family legacy since 1988. The restaurant features three intimate dining rooms accessed through the Bottega, a tribute to the original grocery store offering traditional products from the Bolognese hills. Adjacent to the trattoria, Locanda Amerigo provides five elegantly furnished guest rooms in a historic house, decorated with 20th-century style. The cuisine emphasizes traditional Emiliani and regional Italian dishes crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Signature specialties include a variety of ragù and pasta sauces, such as tomato and basil, deer ragout, and historic Bolognese ragù, alongside fruit compotes and aged balsamic vinegars from Modena.
