Vino Buono

Vino Buono is an enoteca and restaurant established in 1991 by Roberto Zadra in Grumello del Monte, Italy. Housed in a restored 1600s barn beside the Duomo bell tower, it blends historic architecture with a welcoming atmosphere that reflects its local heritage. The team curates a collection of over 400 rare Italian wines from independent producers, often unavailable through typical distribution channels. The menu highlights traditional Lombard cuisine crafted to complement the wine selection, changing seasonally to showcase regional products and classic preparations. Signature dishes include piada armena with shrimp, chicken, and pineapple, tagliatelle with pumpkin and porcini powder, and manzo all’olio con polenta. The restaurant also offers a selection of cured meats, guinea fowl burger with herbal zabaglione, and desserts such as panna cotta with mango and pomegranate and mascarpone millefeuille. Roberto Zadra maintains his founding vision, combining passion with innovation to create a refined yet approachable dining experience. The restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide and has recently introduced personalized wine delivery to customers’ homes.
