Crackers

Crackers opened in 2014 in the former Cookies Club and is owned by 'Cookie' Heinz Gindullis. It combines food, drinks and music and emphasises a party‑meets‑dining concept with a disco brunch once a month. The bar reinterprets classic cocktails. Crackers is part of the Cookies World family, which previously opened Cookies Cream — noted as Germany’s first Michelin‑starred vegetarian restaurant — and continues that tradition of innovative, high‑quality gastronomy and events. The venue runs events and private‑dining with bespoke food and drink selections and can host large exclusive parties, reinforcing its identity as a place to drink, dine and stay late. Guests enter through a heavy black iron door into a long corridor and a large room painted in cool blue. High ceilings, low dimming lights and a sophisticated, sexy interior create a relaxed, cinematic late‑night vibe, with weekends featuring live DJs. The menu is international and intentionally inclusive, offering vegan and vegetarian options alongside meat and fish dishes. Cooking emphasises fresh, seasonal produce and herbs and sustainably sourced proteins, with meat from free‑range farms, fish supplied by Deutsche See from wild catch or certified ecological aquacultures, and regional market suppliers such as Markthalle Neun; dishes are designed to nurture the soul while tickling the tastebuds. The kitchen is led by chefs Patrick Ziegert and Felix Klawitter. Specialties include the Watermelon Man and Cookie’s Margarita alongside a seasonal cocktail range with hand‑made infusions, signature vegan and vegetarian dishes, and vegetables and herbs from Peter Janoth in Krielow.
