Alfredo Di Roma is an Italian restaurant located within the Presidente InterContinental hotel in Mexico City, in Polanco. It is renowned for serving the original recipe of Fettuccine Alfredo, a culinary legacy that has been passed down through three generations of the Di Lelio family since 1908. This dish was first created in Rome by Alfredo Di Lelio for his wife, combining noodles, butter and fresh Parmigiano cheese into a timeless classic. The restaurant continues this tradition by offering a menu that revolves around antipasti, soups, handmade pastas, risottos, fish, meats and desserts, all prepared with carefully selected ingredients, such as authentic Parmigiano Reggiano. The kitchen is led by chef and sommelier Jorge Dumit, whose two decades of experience in the gastronomic scene of Mexico shapes a proposal that honours Italian tradition while incorporating local ingredients.
