Gourmet-Restaurant Der Butt has been located since March 2016 on the top floor of the pavilion directly in the marina. Service is led by restaurant manager and sommelier Thomas Heimann; the house is honoured as "Restaurant des Jahres 2011" by the Großer Restaurant & Hotel Guide and concierge assistance is available for table reservations. The dining room presents stylish interiors and a relaxed, elegant vibe with attentive, high-level service. The kitchen serves creative, modern cuisine built on fresh, high-quality local ingredients and precise technique. Dishes are multi-sensory, conceived to be experienced with all the senses and to reflect the chef’s inventive approach inspired by the broad view of the Baltic Sea and harbour. André Münch is head chef and a starred chef; in 2020 he is named Gault&Millau’s regional "Aufsteiger des Jahres" in Mecklenburg‑Vorpommern with 18 of 20 points for creativity and execution. Specialties include creative, modern tasting menus, refined craftsmanship and presentation, and an exquisite wine selection from a glass wine cellar; expert wine advice from the sommelier complements the gourmet cuisine.
