Koji Teppan Yaki restaurant in Issy-les-Moulineaux specializes in authentic Japanese teppanyaki cuisine, embodying the spirit of omotenashi, or Japanese hospitality. The restaurant is run by Chef Koji Hashimoto, born in Japan in 1979 and trained at the TSUJI Culinary Institute in Osaka. Since his arrival in France in 2002, he has honed his skills in Michelin-starred establishments before dedicating himself exclusively to teppanyaki since 2013. The culinary experience is centered around transparency and craftsmanship, with dishes prepared live on a hot plate right in front of guests seated around the teppanyaki counter. The menu features top-quality Japanese ingredients such as Wagyu beef, fatty tuna toro, sea cucumber, lobster, Japanese vegetables, and traditional spices, all prepared in a homemade style true to Japanese culinary traditions. The restaurant's interior showcases light wood inspired by Japanese architecture, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Seating includes the teppanyaki counter, four dining tables, and a private lounge. Service is limited to thirty covers for lunch and dinner to ensure exceptional quality both in cuisine and hospitality.
