La ferme du Bûcheron

La Ferme du Bûcheron is a square farm dating from 1867 in Steenvoorde, on the edge of the Bois de Beauvoorde and the Groene Straete. With views of Mont des Cats, the property combines five charming holiday cottages with the Estaminet du Bûcheron in a peaceful, green setting. Set in a former hop-drying barn, the estaminet retains the character of an authentic Flemish inn. It is reserved for groups and cottage guests, with regional beers, soft drinks and simple meals. The farm also offers covered-wagon outings, introductions to typical estaminets and Flemish games, including bolletra. The five traditionally decorated cottages offer contemporary comfort and may be booked together. A large square, a designated playground and two pétanque courts complete the on-site offer.
