Le Turenne, a semi‑gastronomic modern restaurant in the heart of Beaulieu‑sur‑Dordogne, was founded by brothers Florent and Médéric — one a fish farmer and fine gourmet, the other raised in the kitchen — who combined passions to create a sincere dining place. The team emphasises product quality and transparency: carefully chosen meats, freshly harvested vegetables, farmhouse cheeses and artisanal flours. The restaurant is recognised for modern cuisine and is listed as SELECTED by the Michelin Guide. Its identity blends family origin, local sourcing and a modern semi‑gastronomic approach. Specialities include oysters prepared three ways (hot; with kiwi jelly; as a spicy tartare with sabayon); organic poultry from La Ferme d'à Côté in two presentations; chocolate mousse with chocolate‑almond streusel and chicory ice cream; cannelloni with foie gras, mushrooms and Chinese cabbage; smoked and aged beef with mustard, miso and stuffed potatoes; trout with Tchuli pepper, Swiss chard, lemongrass and ginger; and a vegetarian blanquette with seitan and roasted mushrooms.
