Martin - Domaine de Primard

Domaine de Primard is a romantic country house and estate an hour from Paris. It is a retreat rooted in nature and relaxed French living where guests reconnect with the landscape, gardens and farm life. The park, created more than 35 years ago by landscape architect Jacques Wirtz, will open to outside visitors with a Jardin remarquable label from spring 2026. Wellness facilities include a 450 m² spa with Susanne Kaufmann treatments, a heated outdoor pool (April–October), and tennis and padel courts. The property is recognised by the Michelin Guide (Selected). The Domaine combines chic, relaxed country-house style with extensive landscaped gardens, château views and convivial dining spaces that emphasise a pastoral, serene atmosphere. Seating and dining experiences are framed by the park, water features and views of the estate. The kitchens offer a living, seasonal French cuisine closely linked to the Domaine’s potager, evolving with the seasons in homage to local producers. Offerings are presented through Bistrot Martin and La Table d’Hôtes with a convivial, bistro-style approach. The estate stages regular culinary events: a Grand Brunch at Bistrot Martin on Sundays, chocolate workshops led by artisan chocolatiers and wine-tasting sessions led by the in-house sommelier. Seasonal dishes sourced from the estate vegetable garden appear alongside chocolate treats, chef-created Easter confectionery and wine tastings accompanied by charcuterie and cheese boards.
