The O'ROOM

The O'ROOM continues in a new form from 01.02.2026 as a pop-up restaurant. Its concept centres on an accessible kitchen that prioritises enjoyment and lightness. From February 2026 it hosts Italian cuisine by chef Claudio Mazzucato. The restaurant is Listed as Selected in the Michelin Guide and described as creative and seasonal. Situated at Kulmstr. 33 on the corner of the beach promenade inside MARC O'POLO STRANDCASINO, the venue offers a seaside setting on the Strandpromenade. The pop-up presents accessible, light and seasonally creative Italian dishes, featuring housemade pastas, classic starters and truffle-accented preparations. A carefully curated wine list pairs modern, unconventional producers and established estates, with emphasis on natural, ecological and partly biodynamic viticulture. André Kähler (Gastronomic Director) remains actively involved as head of the kitchen and plans to expand the events program. Beef fillet carpaccio with salad, pine nuts and parmesan; Vitello tonnato (veal with tuna sauce and capers); Octopus carpaccio with celery; Claudio’s gnocchi with porcini cream sauce; Housemade ravioli with changing fillings; Band noodles in truffle cream with seasonal black truffle.
