Freilichtbühne Waren (Müritz)

This outdoor amphitheater is located in the Bürgerpark Mühlenberg, close to the historic center of Waren in the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region of Germany. The venue offers a natural and spacious outdoor environment, surrounded by large trees, and combines a modernized yet classic amphitheater atmosphere. It is designed to host large-scale corporate events, performances, and gatherings with a seating capacity of up to 1,000 people. The amphitheater was originally built in 1969 and underwent an extensive renovation starting in 2006, which included new seating and improved accessibility features, supported by the European LEADER project. Event services include access to the KulturSchänke, an in-house facility that offers food and drinks during events, with a gastro area opening 90 minutes before performances. The venue is equipped with Wi-Fi and parking facilities, including accommodations for guests with disabilities. The outdoor environment is enhanced by imaginative stage designs, historical costumes, and live music that reflect the cultural heritage of the Müritz region through theater productions such as the Müritz-Saga, which portrays historical events from the Thirty Years' War.
