Le Gourmet de Sèze

Le Gourmet de Sèze is a Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant located in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon, in the heart of the Brotteaux district. Since its opening in June 1991, it has proudly maintained a Michelin star continuously since 2002. The restaurant's cuisine draws inspiration from nature and local produce, emphasising quality, rigour, and seriousness in each dish. Chef Bernard Mariller, hailing from a family of farmers, brings a deep connection with gardens, farm poultry, and orchard fruits to his culinary creations. Having started his apprenticeship at the age of 16 and gained experience under renowned chefs such as Philippe Chavant, the Troisgros brothers, Joël Robuchon, and Jacques Lameloise, Mariller integrates their values into his own cuisine. He prioritises sourcing products through very short supply chains, ensuring absolute freshness and supporting local producers. Guests are welcomed in a serene and timeless setting where attentive yet discreet service is provided by a passionate team. The menu offers several options, including Discovery, Tasting, Signature, and a seasonal gourmet lunch available on Fridays and Saturdays. Bernard Mariller is also a member of the Toques Blanches Lyonnaises, reflecting his commitment to culinary excellence.
