QOMO Restaurant & Bar

The QOMO Restaurant & Bar is located about 172 meters above Düsseldorf in the iconic Rheinturm, a landmark built between 1979 and 1982 by architect H. Deilmann. It is situated on the edge of the southern city centre near the Medienhafen and adjacent to the state parliament building of North Rhine-Westphalia as well as the WDR. The restaurant offers a spectacular panoramic view of 360 degrees. Guests can admire sights such as the Medienhafen, the old town, the Hofgarten, the Königsallee, the Rhine, and its bridges, and on clear days even spot the Cologne Cathedral. The venue rotates fully every 72 minutes, providing a unique dining experience high above the city. After a renovation costing nearly three million euros, QOMO has transformed from a chic of the 1980s into a modern design that reflects a culinary concept worthy of Düsseldorf's highest landmark. The culinary approach combines Japanese ingredients, flavors, and techniques with international influences and a contemporary twist. Chef Masanori Ito leads the kitchen, which adopts a food-sharing concept inspired by Japanese dining culture. The bar program, developed by Uwe Christiansen and Kenichi Kakuta and led by Claus Liebscher, complements the menu with unique cocktails and beverages. QOMO offers fine dining in a lively bar atmosphere and is ideal for dinner, Sunday lunch, sunset moments, and special occasions. The elegant rotating restaurant combines dramatic skyline views with a stylish setting, while downstairs in the Rheinturm is the more relaxed M168 bar and lounge.
