Al Koot Fort

Al Koot Fort is an independent historic fort and museum situated in the heart of Doha, Qatar, on Ukaz Street. Steeped in cultural heritage, the venue offers a distinctive Arabic and traditional ambiance with a minimalistic aesthetic, making it a compelling backdrop for a wide range of events. External catering is permitted at Al Koot Fort, giving organizers the flexibility to bring in their preferred catering partners to suit the culinary requirements of any occasion.

The venue features a single primary event space — a generous outdoor Yard spanning 520 square metres. This open-air setting accommodates up to 532 guests in a cocktail layout, 504 in theater-style, 317 in an island arrangement, and 233 in a cabaret configuration, offering versatile setup options to suit a variety of event formats.

On the technical side, Al Koot Fort is equipped with high-speed internet access, professional sound systems, and projectors and screens. Ambient lighting including uplighting and color-changing LEDs enhances the atmosphere after dark. A dedicated staging area is available, and seating options include folding, banquet, and theater-style chairs alongside round, rectangular, and cocktail tables. Medical support is also provided on-site for guest safety.

The venue includes 24-hour security, CCTV coverage both inside common areas and outside the property, and is non-smoking throughout. Wheelchair accessibility and public parking are available.
