Cooltourspain

Cooltourspain explores Madrid through its graffiti and street art. Running guided tours since 2016, its team draws on backgrounds in art, photography, history and education to explain the stories, techniques and artists behind the city’s murals. Its two-hour Lavapiés walk combines a look at local street art with a chance to make a stencil graffiti piece. The tour is advertised for five or more people. Other options include walking and cycling street-art tours, alongside alternative routes exploring architecture, LGBTQ+ activism and contemporary history. For company groups, Cooltourspain offers tailored private street-art tours and graffiti workshops. Colleagues can work together on a mural using water-based spray paint, bringing a hands-on element to their exploration of Madrid.
