Association TUC Hockey sur Gazon

TUC Field Hockey is a section of the Toulouse Université Club (TUC), the oldest sports club in Toulouse, founded in 1905, and today the largest multisport association in the Occitanie region with over 6,200 licensed members spread across 21 sports sections. The hockey section was created in 2006 with only 21 members and has experienced steady growth to exceed 160 players—a mix of young and adult members—drawn by its friendly and competitive atmosphere. The club competes on a standard wet synthetic pitch measuring 55 m × 91.40 m, located at 11 Allée du Professeur Camille Soula in the southern district of Toulouse (31400). Field hockey is played between two teams of eleven, including a goalkeeper, using a stick and a ball on this dedicated surface. The season runs from September to December and then from March to June. TUC Hockey welcomes players of all ages, from the youngest category "Plumes" (born between 2014 and 2016) to competitive senior teams. Among the adults, a men's team competes in the National 3 Championship, while the women's team—established in 2009—represents Occitanie at the national level. After just four years of steady progress, the women's team reached the Elite division (the top level of indoor hockey in France) in 2013. During the 2022–2023 season, they achieved a perfect campaign: promotion to National 2, French champion title, remaining unbeaten while not conceding any goals. Training sessions are organized throughout the week. The youth hockey school takes place on Wednesdays (13:30–20:00) for several age and gender groups, on Fridays (18:00–22:00 for youth and seniors), and Saturday mornings (09:00–12:00 for younger and recreational adults). Competitive training for senior men occurs on Tuesdays and Fridays from 20:00 to 22:00, while senior women train on Wednesday and Friday evenings. Beginners only need to bring sports shoes, shorts, and a T-shirt—the club provides sticks to get started, although members are encouraged to purchase their own as they progress. Annual subscriptions range from €180 for the youngest category to €300 for competitive senior players, with intermediate rates for youth and recreational or student seniors. The club is supported by institutional partners, including the French Hockey Federation, Occitanie Region, Haute-Garonne Department, and the City of Toulouse.
