Bonnie

Opened in October 2023, Bonnie is a contemporary restaurant that has already been selected by the Michelin Guide and features in national guides as well as in the press. The team maintains close relationships with local producers and celebrates the regional terroir during daily service and special events. The plating is directly inspired by the visual arts, making art-influenced presentation a defining characteristic. Located in a square near the Cahors Cathedral and the river, the dining room is situated next to the historical center of the city and offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. The front of house is run by Rodolphe Bonnie, and the intimate dining area is designed for sharing and local gatherings. The cuisine champions seasonal market cooking that values simplicity, well-arranged dishes, and honest flavors, highlighting local products and wines from the Cahors region. Charlotte Bonnie (Chef) has trained in the fine arts and is passionate about this field; she views cuisine as an edible medium and composes dishes with instinct and emotion rather than cold technique. Specialties include seasonal dishes drawn from the market, art-inspired presentation creations, a focus on Cot Cadurcien (Malbec/Auxerrois) in the cellar, an instinctive yet simple cuisine, as well as brunch and special event menus; the cellar is overseen by Rodolphe.
