Bratwurst Röslein

The Bratwurst Röslein is the largest bratwurst restaurant in the world, located since 1493 in the historic old town center of Nuremberg, directly at the main market. Shaped by Franconian tradition and family heritage, the restaurant places great value on uncompromising quality by sourcing all products from carefully selected regional suppliers. The sausages contain meat from Franconian pigs, Steigerwald land pigs, and Schrozberg Angus cattle, which are raised by local farmers under stress-free, animal-friendly conditions. Fresh potatoes, crisp vegetables, and fine sauerkraut arrive daily from Nuremberg's Knoblauchsland and other Franconian cultivation areas. The menu highlights the original Nuremberg sausages and classic Franconian inn dishes, supplemented by regional meat specialties, fish, vegetarian and vegan options, desserts, and cold platters. Guests can enjoy their meals in a historic, spacious traditional setting with several event rooms or relax in the beer garden on the historic town hall square.
