COOP

COOP occupies a renovated former industrial mill beside the Brussels Canal in Anderlecht. Its permanent exhibition, workshops, active walks and collective projects explore the canal neighbourhoods, from their industrial past and popular culture to the changes shaping them today. The venue also offers professional spaces, including an auditorium and Café COOP available for hire, alongside offices. In its cooking workshop, participants make a dish together, share ideas and taste what they have prepared; the dish also appears on the café’s lunchtime menu. COOP brings collective activities and workspaces together in a distinctive canalside setting.
