JX Event Venue is housed in the historic Connolly Shoe Factory building, originally constructed in 1905 and thoughtfully renovated in 2016. Situated in downtown Stillwater, Minnesota, this expansive venue blends rustic charm with modern elegance, featuring exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and customizable downlighting that create a timeless and sophisticated atmosphere. The space spans 14,000 square feet and offers a versatile layout adaptable for a variety of events.

The venue's design incorporates glamorous and romantic elements alongside rustic touches, with standout features including fireplaces, multiple chandeliers, and an expansive built-in bar. Two getting ready rooms, The Oxford Suite and The Bourbon Room, are included in the rental, providing private spaces for preparation. Guests can enjoy unique amenities such as a photobooth with an Ames room optical illusion and a state-of-the-art sound system, enhancing the multimedia experience during events.

JX Event Venue accommodates a wide range of celebrations, from weddings and corporate events to birthday parties and retreats. Its location adjacent to a 250-space parking garage and the historic Lowell Inn adds convenience for attendees. The venue also hosts The Velveteen Speakeasy, a prohibition-themed bar, and The Lumberjack Axe Throwing Bar, contributing to the distinctive character of the space.
