Machine Shop

The venue is a historic and unique private event space located in the St. Anthony neighborhood of Northeast Minneapolis, near the Mississippi River. It occupies a restored industrial building originally constructed in 1916 as part of the Pillsbury A-Mill complex. The building was used for producing and repairing machinery and was carefully restored and reopened in 2016 as an event venue, preserving its original architectural features. The space offers 19,000 square feet across two levels, featuring high ceilings, polished concrete floors, barnwood walls, reclaimed chandeliers, and original wood floors. The venue provides a bright, open, and flexible environment with a blend of historic character and modern updates, including industrial portable bars, movable wood walls, a concert-grade in-house sound system, and LED lighting. It is suitable for a wide range of corporate and private events, offering both open and intimate spaces. The venue includes a break room lounge with lounge furniture and windows providing daylight on the upper level. Bar setup and staff are available for events, and Wi-Fi is provided. The venue is available for booking by appointment and can be toured upon request.
