NENI Amsterdam offers an Eastern Mediterranean dining experience, provided by the Molcho family, whose name comes from the initials of the four sons of founder Haya Molcho. Rooted in Israeli, Romanian, and Spanish heritage, the restaurant emphasizes sharing dishes in an informal and cozy atmosphere, embodying the family value of Balagan — charming chaos. The motto "Life is beautiful. Be a part of it," reflects the warm, open service and passion for cooking that defines NENI. The location is housed in a former Citroën garage, featuring industrial architecture softened by Mediterranean accents such as fig trees and lanterns. The split-level design offers views over multiple floors, centered around a glass-enclosed open kitchen. Guests dine at communal tables or at counters near the chefs, with direct sightlines to a coal-fired robata grill and a dome oven used for specialty fish and vegetable dishes. NENI’s kitchen highlights bold flavours from the Middle East and the Levant through shared mezze, the Balagan menu, and signature main dishes prepared on the robata grill. Complementing the restaurant, the Lemonman bar pays tribute to Roelof Citroen with lime- and arak-based cocktails, wine and beer served in a vibrant setting with vintage leather seating. The venue also offers facilities for private and corporate events, including receptions and product launches.
