Zone Sensible - Parti poétique

Located in Île-de-France, this centre for artistic and food production is situated on the former Plaine des Vertus, in Saint-Denis. It occupies the last working market garden from the 19th century at the gates of Paris. The site is easily accessible, just 500 metres from the Saint-Denis – Université metro station.

The space spans one hectare and cultivates more than 250 plant species according to the principles of permaculture. It offers a multidisciplinary programme around the themes Nature-Culture-Food, including exhibitions, concerts, debates, cinema, and outdoor theatre. Residencies for chefs, artists, and researchers are also organised, providing a conducive environment for cultural and professional exchanges.

Among the services offered on site, guided tours and practical workshops are organised throughout the year, promoting learning and knowledge sharing. The venue also encourages local residents' participation through its Farm-Club, where volunteers can train in permaculture market gardening and contribute to the cultivation of the site.
