Teresita by Giardino di Mari is a sea-facing restaurant in Viareggio, Italy, led by Chef Daniele Angelini, who joined the family business in 2021. The Palagi sisters, Moana and Valesca, continue to manage the venue originally founded by their parents in 1969. The restaurant focuses on fresh seafood and seasonal Mediterranean ingredients sourced from the local territory, showcasing meticulous culinary craftsmanship. The setting offers a refined yet relaxed atmosphere on a terrace overlooking Viareggio’s coast. Live music events accompany special themed dinners, enhancing the welcoming family ambiance. The team aims to provide guests with warmth and comfort reminiscent of home. The menu highlights include dishes such as Carpaccio of wild Sockeye salmon with citrus and yogurt sauce, Agnolotti with lobster and clams, and Lobster Thermidor with topinambur purée. Seasonal specialties like Royale di zucca tardiva with amaretti crumble and Tortino caldo al panettone with Moscato sauce demonstrate a blend of tradition and innovation. An extensive wine list complements the high-level enogastronomic experience recognized by the Michelin Guide.
