SEE Institute

The SEE Institute is an independent, world-class sustainability hub located in The Sustainable City, Dubai. Designed as the first net-zero carbon building in the region, it spans 5,000 square meters and operates on an energy-positive model, with solar panels generating 300% of the building's energy requirements. An innovative hybrid cooling system powered by biogas from organic waste further underscores the institute's commitment to sustainable operations. The venue's modern aesthetic and mission-driven ethos make it a distinctive setting for corporate events, conferences, and sustainability-focused gatherings aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement.

The SEE Institute provides in-house catering and beverage services to support events of all scales.

The institute offers eight versatile spaces across a range of formats and capacities. The main Auditorium spans 467 square meters and accommodates up to 440 guests in theater or cocktail configuration, making it ideal for large-scale conferences and keynote presentations. The Immersive Experience Hall (ImmerSEE), at 527 square meters, integrates virtual reality and augmented reality technologies to create interactive exhibitions and displays, with capacity for up to 300 in boardroom or cocktail settings and 200 in island or classroom layouts. The Classic Auditorium and Hybrid Auditorium each cover 82 square meters, seating up to 60 and 42 guests respectively in theater style. A dedicated Hybrid Classroom accommodates 42 attendees, while two standard Classrooms each host up to 24 participants in classroom, theater, or cocktail configurations. Al Majlis, a special-purpose venue of 105 square meters, offers an intimate setting for up to 15 guests in U-shape or cocktail format, suited to high-profile VIP meetings.

The institute's production and technical capabilities are extensive. Audiovisual provision includes high-speed internet access, professional sound systems, wireless, handheld, and lapel microphones, high-definition projectors, LED displays and video walls, audio and video recording equipment, and full video conferencing capabilities, all supported by an on-site technician. Lighting options encompass stage lighting with spotlights, floodlights, and gobo projectors, ambient uplighting and color-changing LEDs, dimmable controls, and special effects enhancements, also managed by a dedicated technician. Staging infrastructure includes modular stage platforms, podiums, and lecterns, while furniture options span folding, banquet, and theater-style chairs alongside round, rectangular, and cocktail tables. Livestream capabilities, an LED wall, and soundproof rooms further expand the venue's event production potential.

The SEE Institute has no guest rooms. Facilities on site include a garden, public and accessible parking with electric vehicle charging stations, a business center, 24-hour security with CCTV coverage, air conditioning, whiteboard and flipchart provision, and VIP services. The venue is well suited to corporate conferences, seminars, training sessions, product launches, exhibitions, and sustainability-focused events.
