Women's Pavilion Expo City Dubai

The Women's Pavilion is a distinctive cultural venue located within Expo City Dubai's Sustainability District. Conceived by e.construct and inaugurated during Expo 2020 (October 2021–March 2022), the pavilion stands as a legacy landmark celebrating women's achievements and contributions through a multisensory exhibition spanning history to the modern day. Its guiding ethos — "When women thrive, humanity thrives" — is woven into every aspect of the space, from its immersive storytelling galleries to its culturally resonant décor. The pavilion's contemporary and elegant architectural character, combined with its educational and heritage-driven purpose, makes it a compelling choice for event organizers seeking a venue with genuine meaning and visual impact.

The venue offers in-house catering services and is equipped to provide alcohol, supporting a range of event formats from formal receptions to networking gatherings.

The pavilion encompasses six distinct spaces suited to a variety of event configurations. The Majlis, inspired by traditional Arabic social gathering culture, is the venue's flagship space and accommodates up to 200 guests in theatre style, 150 in cocktail format, 120 in classroom layout, or 80 in island configuration — making it ideal for panel discussions, conferences, and celebratory events. The Multi-Purpose Hall holds up to 120 guests in theatre or cocktail arrangements and 70 in classroom style, offering flexibility for presentations and workshops. The Co-working Space supports up to 70 guests for cocktail events or 50 in boardroom format. The VIP Room serves as an intimate pre-function or breakout area for up to 15 guests. Two dedicated boardrooms — the Thrive Meeting Room and the Empower Meeting Room — cater to smaller groups of up to 12 and 10 guests respectively, in both boardroom and cocktail configurations.

The pavilion is comprehensively equipped for live and hybrid events. Audio capabilities include wireless, handheld, and lapel microphones, professional sound systems, and high-definition projectors paired with LED displays and video walls. Video conferencing equipment and audio/video recording tools support livestreaming and hybrid formats, with on-site AV technicians available throughout. The lighting package spans stage lighting with spotlights, floodlights, and gobo projectors, through to ambient uplighting, colour-changing LEDs, dimmable controls, and special effects enhancements — all managed by dedicated technicians. Staging provisions include modular and portable stage platforms, podiums, lecterns, and backdrops, while furniture options range from theatre-style seating and banquet tables to lounge sofas and high-top bar arrangements.

Facilities at the Women's Pavilion include 24-hour security, CCTV coverage, on-site and accessible parking with valet service, air conditioning, high-speed internet access, wheelchair accessibility, and full non-smoking compliance. The venue is well suited to networking events, meetings, corporate gatherings, training sessions, and cultural celebrations.
