NLK Studio is a blackbox production studio located in The Heights neighborhood of Jersey City, NJ. The space has an urban ambiance, featuring black floors, wooden tables, a stage with instruments, and overhead lighting, creating a flexible environment suited to a wide range of creative and professional uses. The Blackbox Production Studio is the venue's main space and is available as a whole venue rental. It accommodates up to 35 guests in a theater or standing configuration, 30 in a classroom layout, and 25 in a cabaret setup. The space is well-suited for photo shoots, film productions, live performances, rehearsals, corporate events, promoted and ticketed events, and weddings. Guests may bring their own catering and alcohol. Music at a reasonable volume is permitted with prior approval, and a noise restriction applies after 22:00. The studio is cleaned and sanitized before and after each rental, and setup and breakdown time must be included within the booking window.
