Kāʻanapali Surf Club

Ka’anapali Surf Club runs surf and stand-up paddle lessons and guided kayak outings along Maui’s Ka’anapali coast. Its beachfront activity locations include sites near Black Rock and at Kapalua Bay. Surf and SUP instruction is available in group, private and semi-private formats. Surf lessons begin with instruction on the beach before participants head into the water. The kayak programme includes a Black Rock eco-tour with snorkeling, a Kapalua Bay eco-tour and a seasonal whale eco-tour. Instructors hold First Aid and CPR certification. Lessons cover water safety and include the necessary equipment, such as boards or kayaks, rash guards and protective water shoes. Beach and watersports equipment rentals are also part of the club’s offer.
