Banshee is a restaurant and bar serving New American fare with a strong focus on seasonality. Partners Peter Chvala, Nolan Wynn, Katie McDonald and Faielle Bolzan Stocco opened the venue with the intent to provide upscale food and beverage in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Within its first year the executive chef was named “Best New Chef 2018” by Atlanta Magazine and was nominated as a semifinalist for “Rising Star Chef of the Year” by the James Beard Foundation. The restaurant has been named one of Atlanta's top restaurants by Atlanta Magazine every year since opening and was listed among the top 50 restaurants in the US by Wine Enthusiast in 2022. In 2023 Banshee was featured in Atlanta’s inaugural Michelin Guide with the "Bib Gourmand" distinction. Menus for dinner, drinks and desserts are published online, and the kitchen emphasizes seasonal, thoughtfully composed New American dishes. Upscale yet relaxed and casual interior in East Atlanta Village is centered around a cocktail-driven bar; the space stays lively late and transitions into music after hours on Friday and Saturday. New American cooking focused on seasonality offers a dinner menu supported by a cocktail-driven beverage program, a small curated selection of local beers and an eclectic wine list.
