Center for Puppetry Arts

Center for Puppetry Arts is a museum-based event venue located in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia. Set within a cultural institution dedicated to the art of puppetry, the venue features framed puppetry posters, gallery-style displays, and a creative atmosphere that distinguishes it from conventional event spaces. It offers several distinct bookable spaces suited to a wide range of event formats and group sizes. The Love Family Atrium is the venue's flagship shared event space, featuring 18-foot ceilings, airy columns, and a striking entrance to the Worlds of Puppetry Museum. Available exclusively for after-hours events, it accommodates up to 80 guests seated or up to 200 for standing receptions. Guests can explore the adjacent museum as part of their event experience. The Mainstage Theater is the largest space on site, offering bench-style seating with full lighting and sound capabilities. It accommodates up to 320 guests seated or 330 standing, and is well suited for large productions, performances, and major corporate or special events. The Founder's Theater is a basement black-box style theater named for the Center's founder, Vince Anthony. It seats up to 170 guests and is suited for performances, presentations, screenings, and exclusive events with a theatrical atmosphere. Harlequin Hall is a colorful multi-purpose hall with checkered flooring that can be divided into four smaller sections. It accommodates up to 80 guests seated or 120 standing, making it suitable for receptions, parties, and breakout configurations. The Classroom evokes the atmosphere of the historic Spring Street Elementary school, featuring polished hardwood floors and large windows. It accommodates up to 40 guests seated or 60 standing, and is suited for training sessions, educational events, and smaller corporate gatherings. The Conference Room is a private meeting space located downstairs near the Founder's Theater, accommodating up to 20 guests in boardroom or U-shape configuration or up to 30 standing. It is well suited for corporate meetings and workshops. The venue permits external catering and provides beer and wine with a licence until 11:00 pm.
