Clara Chicago

Clara Chicago is an artist-owned cocktail bar and performance space located in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. Designed around supporting new and local performing artists, the venue combines craft cocktails with live performances in a setting featuring exposed brick walls, pendant lighting, and a wooden bar counter. The Private Space Within Venue is a dedicated backroom area accommodating up to 30 guests in a seated or standing configuration, with a more comfortable fit for up to 25. The space features high wooden tables, black stools, hardwood floors, and a green accent wall. A large central table makes it well suited for food and catering setups, and additional tables and seating can be arranged on request. This space is available Tuesday through Sunday from 4:00 pm, with no rental fee — a $600 minimum drink spend applies instead. The Entire Venue option opens the full cocktail bar for private use, accommodating up to 80 guests for seated events and up to 119 standing. It is suited for a range of occasions including private events, cocktail receptions, promoted performances, and seated dinners. A $1,500 minimum spend applies for the full buyout. The venue holds an alcohol licence until 1:00 am and welcomes external catering. Guests may play their own music or bring their own DJ, with no noise restrictions in place. All guests must be 21 or older.
