Meilenstein is a restaurant and event house in a listed historic building in the old town of Lübeck that combines historical charm with contemporary design. Owner Ole Reimers opened it in April 2021; it operates as a dining venue and an exclusive location for weddings and private events. Three generously proportioned halls accommodate private functions. The house is recognised by Michelin as a Selected venue for its modern approach and for the combination of historic setting, adaptable event spaces and a modern‑classical cuisine philosophy. The interior blends elegant and rustic elements within a modern‑historic design. A relaxed, quiet décor keeps attention on food and shared time. A comfortable lounge and a peaceful terrace overlooking the Bürgergärten complete the setting. The kitchen combines classical techniques with exotic components, follows a seasonal menu cycle and sources carefully selected regional products. Dishes are offered à la carte and as curated banquet menus paired with recommended beverages. An extensive wine and beverage selection from the old and new world, plus a decorated cocktail and spirits list, accompanies them. Head Chef Sandra Kalbau leads the kitchen and personally checks the house's high quality standards.
