One Bunk Barrio

One Bunk Barrio is a 5,100 square foot event space located in the vibrant Barrio Logan neighborhood of San Diego, California. Nestled in the heart of the area's emerging Art District, the venue combines traditional Mexican iconography with innovative contemporary design, reflecting the cultural richness of its surroundings. Established in 2016, the space offers both indoor and outdoor areas that accommodate a variety of events.

The venue features a unique blend of industrial and modern styles, with artistic elements such as large handcrafted stained glass windows, street art displayed in a traditional gallery setting, and creative outdoor installations including repurposed materials and a fire pit made from mechanical components. The open courtyard is flanked by shipping containers transformed into a cabana seating area and a bottle-art light installation, enhancing the eclectic atmosphere.

One Bunk Barrio also includes a mid-century style 500-square-foot studio apartment on site, decorated with handmade crafts from both sides of the border. This accommodation offers guests a distinctive stay experience, with amenities such as a mini-bar featuring local craft beer. The venue’s design and layout support a wide range of celebrations, from corporate parties and product launches to weddings and creative workshops.
