Founded in 2013 as a 37-seat operation, it has grown into a 72-seat, award-winning destination with an always-evolving menu and wine list aimed at adventurous diners. The restaurant is co-owned and kitchen-led by Ferrell Alvarez, a 2017 James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Best Chef: South, together with longtime partner Ty Rodriguez and Chon Nguyen. The team has earned multiple recognitions, including multiple Michelin Bib Gourmand distinctions, and was named the city’s top restaurant by the Tampa Bay Times. The staff programs guest-chef series, pop-up events and an ever-changing tasting menu, and stages private and custom dinners with designed wine or cocktail pairings for group events.
The compact dining room features a lively front bar that invites guests to pull up a stool for happy hour and late-night drinks, and the vibe is neighborhood-forward and energetic with a focus on convivial dining and rotating culinary programming.
