Sundance Studios

Sundance Studios is housed in a rescued blacksmith building from the early 1900s, located in the ghost town of Millburg, Michigan. The venue occupies an entire block in this small town, offering a unique sense of seclusion and space. The building features handmade iron railings and light fixtures, a European-style courtyard, and gardens that create a distinctive atmosphere blending rustic and vintage elements.

The interior design reflects an eclectic mix of Art Deco, Bohemian, and rustic styles, with creative details such as vintage light fixtures from Paris and a combination of crystals and rusty steel. The venue comprises four rescued buildings transformed into one cohesive space, including a French bridal studio and a men's lounge known as "the Garage." Outdoor spaces include European-inspired rose gardens and a cocktail hour lawn, providing versatile settings for events.

Designed by Amelia Briske, known for her work on notable Chicago restaurants, Sundance Studios combines countryside charm with city style. Situated just over an hour from Chicago and ten minutes from Lake Michigan, it offers a getaway experience without losing touch with urban influences. The venue is seasonal, operating from May through October, and is suited for wedding ceremonies and receptions with a capacity of up to 175 guests.
