The Cyclorama is a historic reception hall located in Boston's South End, within one of the largest designated historic neighborhoods in the United States. The venue is situated amid a vibrant retail district and historic brownstone houses, providing an environment rich in cultural and architectural heritage. Constructed in 1884 to house a panoramic painting of The Battle of Gettysburg, the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks. The space features old world industrial charm, including a historic brick floor, a copper dome, and a skylight that allows natural daylight to enter. The venue offers a flexible configuration to accommodate a variety of event layouts. It is equipped with air conditioning, an onsite kitchen, a fully electrified truss structure, house lighting, a 16 by 24 foot stage, and security and cleaning services. Rental packages and use of a scissor lift are also available. Exclusive catering is provided through a curated list of Boston caterers. Event proposals are customized to the needs of each organization. The venue supports Boston's artist community through programs of the Boston Center for the Arts.
