What is Office Photo Bingo?
Office Photo Bingo is a team building activity where participants complete a bingo grid by taking photos that match prompts. Prompts can be workplace-friendly and simple, like “a coffee mug with a funny message,” “something that represents teamwork,” or “a view from a window.” Teams race to complete lines (or the full grid) by collaborating, dividing tasks, and sharing results.
How do you play Office Photo Bingo?
Divide participants into teams of 3 to 5 people. Give each team the same bingo grid (3×3 or 5×5) with photo prompts. Set a 10–15 minute timer. Teams split up (or search together) to capture photos matching prompts and paste them into a shared doc/chat thread. When time ends, teams score points for completed squares, lines, or the full grid.
Why it’s great for a team
This activity creates instant energy without needing complex setup. It encourages task distribution (“you take the funny object, I’ll take the teamwork symbol”), fast coordination, and shared humor. It also works well for cross-team bonding because prompts reveal personality and small details people usually miss.
How to organize it effectively
Keep prompts inclusive, workplace-appropriate, and achievable within the space available. Offer an alternative “screenshot version” for remote teams (screenshots, desk photos, or items at home). Use clear rules about privacy (no photos of strangers, no confidential screens). End with a quick show-and-tell of the best photos to reinforce connection and create shared memories.
