Fort des Rousses

Fort des Rousses is a historic fortress located in the Jura mountains, offering a distinctive venue for corporate groups. These spaces have been repurposed since 1998 as maturing cellars for Comté cheese, providing a unique setting that combines history, authenticity, and gastronomy. The venue is renowned for its world-famous Juraflore Comté cheese aging cellars, where visitors can experience tastings and learn about traditional cheese-making and aging processes. The fortress spans over 21 hectares and includes a large interior esplanade and underground galleries, offering an original environment for seminars, meetings, and team-building activities. Parking is available inside the Fort, and coaches can enter the grounds, facilitating group access.
