Bord'eau

Bord’eau is a bistronomic restaurant in Colmar’s Petite Venise, a contemporary gourmet stop along the Lauch. Part of the Schillinger group and an ambassador of its signature, it is selected by the Michelin Guide (SELECTED); Géraldine Laufenburger leads the dining room. The dining room is cosy and contemporary, attracting a cosmopolitan clientele; in summer a riverside terrace opens onto the Lauch. The kitchen prepares house-made dishes from fresh products and notes provenance, indicating origins for meat and poultry. The carte mixes tapas-style dishes, international specialties and regional highlights, starring local products and offered in a menu-card format with set prices. Benoît David (Chef) is presented as a creative collaborator of Jean-Yves Schillinger, composing cuisine that celebrates specialties of the world while revisiting the local terroir. Specialities include tranche de foie gras de canard with orange compote; minute of Arctic salmon with coconut milk, curry and ginger; gambas tempura with spiced vegetable spaghetti and chili sauce; roast sea bass (bar rôti) for two with yellow curry viennoise; Iberian pork côte with ginger sweet-and-sour jam; and creamy seasonal vegetable risotto.
