Drachenfels Eventlocation

The venue is located on the 321-meter-high summit of Drachenfels above the Rhine, within a nature reserve near Bonn and Cologne. It offers a panoramic view of the Rhine Valley and the Siebengebirge, providing an inspiring and tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by natural landscapes and historical sites. The location is known for its legendary history, including medieval tales about the dragon that once lived on the rock. The event spaces include a conference room, two seminar rooms, and a larger glass cube room called Glaskubus. These rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, conference furniture, projectors, and facilitation kits. The Glaskubus also features a BOSE sound system. There is no daylight in these rooms. The largest room accommodates up to 130 guests in theater or cocktail format. On-site catering is available, offering regional cuisine and seasonal specialties. The catering services provide customized menus ranging from rustic to gourmet options. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, and light snacks are also provided for seminar participants. There is a terrace for dining and relaxation. Access to the venue is exclusively via the Drachenfels Railway cogwheel train, with parking available at the valley station. A limited number of special access permits for vehicles are granted. The venue collaborates with professional event services and supports corporate meetings, seminars, workshops, incentives, and conferences.
