Genuss-Atelier

Genuss-Atelier is a Michelin-starred restaurant in Dresden run by siblings Marcus and Nicole Blonkowski that combines art and cuisine to create memorable tasting experiences. The house presents dishes with careful presentation and, since 2019, holds one Michelin star recognised for finesse, product quality and consistently high preparation standards. The dining rooms occupy distinctive sandstone vaults and comprise four areas: a cozy lounge, an impressive vault, a stylish business room and an intimate separée. The atmosphere leans toward understatement and comfort rather than ostentatious formality. Rooms can be flexibly arranged for different group sizes, creating a warm and inviting ambience. The cuisine is modern and creative, interpreting national and international dishes with refined technique, seasonal high-quality ingredients and an emphasis on visual presentation. Guests may choose a regularly changing à la carte or opt for a surprise tasting menu of four to eight courses offered as meat, fish or vegetarian compositions; a dedicated SHGF five-course menu is also available. The wine list specialises in wines from Saxony and the Saale-Unstrut region and includes a selection of Weinraritäten. The service team provides glasswise, bottle or pairing recommendations.
