Goncanseco

Goncanseco is a historic place located in the heart of San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The site dates back more than 150 years and was originally the first market and Ford dealership in the city. The space has been carefully restored from old warehouses, preserving original features such as metal sheet walls, wooden plank doors, and handmade brick floors made from soil from the property itself.

The venue encompasses approximately 1,600 square meters and offers a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, including several warehouses and corners that create a dynamic atmosphere for events. Thoughtful lighting and greenery enhance the ambiance while allowing flexibility for unique design concepts. The classic, cultural, romantic, and vintage style of the place reflects its rich history and architectural character.

Conveniently located just steps from the historic San José church, Goncanseco uniquely accommodates traditional Mexican wedding parades through the town center. The venue fee includes staff services such as bathroom cleaning, security at access points, parking management for 50 vehicles, and clean-up and waste disposal after the event. Furnishings are also provided as part of the rental.
