Goncanseco

Goncanseco is a historic venue located in the heart of San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. The site dates back over 150 years and was originally the first market and Ford dealership in town. The space has been carefully restored from old warehouses, preserving original features such as metal sheet walls, wood plank doors, and handmade brick floors made with dirt from the property itself.

The venue spans approximately 1600 square meters and offers a combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, including various warehouses and nooks that create a dynamic setting for events. Thoughtful lighting and greenery enhance the atmosphere while allowing flexibility for unique design concepts. The venue’s classic, cultural, romantic, and vintage style reflects its rich history and architectural character.

Conveniently situated steps away from the historic San José church, Goncanseco uniquely accommodates traditional Mexican wedding processionals through the main town. The venue fee includes staff services such as bathroom cleaning, security at access points, parking management for 50 vehicles, and post-event cleaning and garbage collection. Furniture is also provided as part of the rental.
