L'A Cheda

L’A Cheda is the gastronomic restaurant of the A Cheda hotel in Bonifacio, presenting a modern, gastronomic take on Corsican traditions. The kitchen is led in the front by Lionel, with François managing presentation, and the menu is described as colourful and first a feast for the eyes. The restaurant adheres to an eco-responsible philosophy as a member of the Charte Nustrale; it sources labelled and organic producers where possible, favours short supply chains, and cultivates an on-site potager in permaculture. The potager is tended by a gardener-team including Nathalie and Bruno and supplies vegetables, flowers and aromatics for the kitchen. A Cheda places strong emphasis on wine pairing and oenology, offering Corsican crus alongside major French appellations and a selection of champagnes. The venue is Selected by the Michelin Guide. Dining spaces comprise a poolside terrace and Bar Piscine as well as a cosy, refined Espace Lounge; evenings are convivial and music-filled under the stars, and the setting mixes hotel-lounge comfort with an elevated gastronomic dining room and outdoor poolside seating. The house runs seasonal experiences including an immersive chef evening (dinner-dégustation), hosts musical evenings and provides poolside service. Specialties include Corsican-inspired tasting menus, the Poolside "Carte Piscine" seasonal lunch, a Plateau Nustrale of local products, the Chef’s immersion dinner-dégustation and local digestifs (myrtle and chestnut liqueurs).
