Le Kermer

Kermer unites chefs Arnaud Domette and Patrick Dagorne, who combine Patrick’s territorial expertise with Arnaud’s desire to share. The restaurant stands in the centre of Sarzeau on the Rhuys peninsula. Sommelier Mickaël curates the house wine list, seeking singular French productions and selecting wines for the Kerstéphanie. Kermer programmes events such as Valentine’s Day menus and operates the food-truck La Kale / Le Ker for receptions and private events. The house is selected in the Michelin Guide for its traditional cuisine and local seafood- and vegetable-led bistronomy. The dining room is warm and blends marine motifs with modern design; the venue feels relaxed and festive and includes private rooms and a flowered terrace. Kermer delivers a revisited bistro (bistronomic) cuisine focused on products of the sea and a strong vegetable presence. Vegetables undergo rigorous selection and preparations are made in-house, with an emphasis on fresh, local and seasonal produce and an ecological, responsible approach to sourcing and preparation. Specialties comprise the Lobster Roll from the food-truck, bistronomic seafood dishes, vegetable-forward preparations and seasonal local vegetable plates.
