Stadtpfeiffer is a creative modern-French restaurant in the Gewandhaus annex in central Leipzig, run by Petra and Detlef Schlegel. The house follows a product-driven "schnörkellose Küche", positions itself as world-class and timeless, places service under Petra Schlegel's attentive leadership, offers structured tasting menus with wine or non-alcoholic pairings, is recognised in the Michelin Guide (SELECTED), and stages gala dinners, a cookery school and off-site catering; the Gewandhaus location and the owners' ambition to "reach for the stars" form part of its identity.
