Established originally in 1744, the property features two large barns, a manor house, a historic cottage, a hunt box, and a rustic smokehouse, all set within 25 acres of landscaped grounds. The venue's name, derived from Scottish meaning "by the woods," reflects its wooded surroundings and pastoral setting.

The farm presents a variety of scenic views including rolling hills, mountains, meadows, a freshwater pond, gardens, and forested areas. These natural and architectural elements provide a distinctive backdrop for social events such as wedding ceremonies, receptions, engagement parties, anniversaries, vow renewals, and elopements.
