Terrae

Terrae is a gastronomic restaurant launched by Lucile and Grégory after several years in starred and reputed establishments across France. The kitchen places emphasis on sourcing, listing bread makers, farmers, fish and meat suppliers, cheesemakers and truffle and spice providers, and stresses seasonal, carefully selected products. The team sells gift vouchers and structured pairing offers to allow guests to experience the menu outside regular reservations. Terrae is listed as SELECTED by the Michelin Guide. The dining room is intimate and warm in the centre of Cambo-Les-Bains, with a convivial, family-like atmosphere. Tableware and furnishings are carefully chosen from local ateliers. The kitchen describes itself as sincere, gourmand, generous and modern. The cuisine changes regularly with the chef’s inspirations and the seasons, treats each ingredient with special attention and forgoes an à la carte format. The house serves a single five-course tasting menu (menu dégustation) each evening. A five-glass wine pairing (accord mets et vins) and by-the-glass options accompany the tasting; the menu is built around local Basque producers and features Truite de Banka and Cooperative Kintoa pork.
