The Huntington Theatre

The Huntington Theatre is a proscenium-style theatre built in the 1920s, located on Huntington Avenue in Boston's Fenway Kenmore neighborhood. The venue opens its doors for private events, corporate functions, rehearsals, weddings, ticketed performances, and more. Its architectural character — featuring ornate ceiling molding, red velvet seating, and balcony rows — creates a setting that is both grand and intimate. The main Theatre space seats up to 739 guests in a theatre configuration and accommodates up to 100 for dining. The auditorium is suited for large-scale productions, ceremonies, opera, music and dance performances, literary readings, lectures, and major corporate presentations. The Maso Studio is a fully convertible black box space on the second floor of the theatre's west wing. Its flexible layout supports configurations ranging from intimate boardroom meetings to lecture-style presentations for up to 224 guests, seated dinners for up to 96, or theatre-style seating for up to 220. The space is regularly used for rehearsals, smaller gatherings, breakout events, and social occasions. A dedicated catering space is available on the third floor. The venue holds an alcohol licence until midnight and provides an in-house bar with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic options. External catering is also welcomed.
